Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University in 2017 and joined Joss Legal as a paralegal in October 2018. Sarah was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 2 November 2018 and now practises as a Solicitor at Joss Legal.
Whilst completing her degrees, Sarah was an active member of the university community, including a role as editor of a university publication and involvement in leadership and mentor programs. In 2018, Sarah obtained her postgraduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Australian National University whilst understudying Senior Lawyers in the area of Family Law and Wills & Estates.
Sarah has worked with a number of Community Legal Centres in Perth, primarily, in Family Law, Migration Law and Women’s legal rights. During and post university Sarah then worked in boutique Family Law and Wills and Estate Planning practice, before joining the Joss Legal team in October 2018.
Sarah is passionate about ensuring that all members of our society have access to justice and she wants to ensure that those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable receive the support they need when engaging with the law and justice system.
Sarah is diligent and enthusiastic about obtaining the best results for our clients. Sarah takes an empathetic client-focussed approach by being caring, down-to-earth and approachable.
Sarah is looking forward to working closely with Cassandra Joss, Joss Legal’s Practice Director to expand her skills and knowledge as a solicitor.
