Emma graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University in 2017. She joined the Joss Legal team as a paralegal in November 2019 and was admitted as a solicitor in October 2020.

While completing her degrees, Emma worked in a small community legal centre helping vulnerable West Australians with their legal issues. She also worked as a support worker in the disability industry, which involved helping young people achieve their goals and meet their daily needs.

From this experience, Emma’s passion for helping those in need developed. This led her to finding her calling in the area of family law. She prides herself on being compassionate and understanding towards clients who are often going through often difficult times in their lives during parenting and property disputes.

Emma is an advocate for trying to settle matters amicably and without litigating.

During her spare time, Emma loves spends time with her friends and family, watching the football and playing with her dog, Marley. She is also learning to speak Italian and aspires to complete further study in the area of social work.
